Yesterday, my second favorite coach in sports history died at 58 due to cancer. Pat Burns, who coached my favorite team, the Montreal Canadiens, from 88-92 succumb to the deadly disease after a long, courageous bout. While it always broke my heart to see him coaching other teams after his Canadien days, I always rooted for him to do well. Even in his Boston Bruin days, even though I despise that team. Rest in peace, Pat, you are already sorely missed.
By the way, if you are wondering who my favorite all time coach in sports is, I'll clue you in.
