Culinary queen: Nadine Coyle has revealed plans to launch her own cookery show
Asked what she thinks when she sees pictures criticising her weight, Nadine replied: 'I do look at pictures of myself sometimes and think, "Oh my God, I look really skinny."

She's caused controversy with her skinny appearance in recent months.

But Nadine Coyle has come forward to insist she does maintain a balanced diet, as well as revealing plans to launch her own cookery show.

The 25-year-old singer posed as a housewife in this week's Heat magazine as she admitted she would love to follow in Delia Smith and Jamie Oliver's footsteps.

'But I do eat, I love Lucky Charms cereal and potatoes, and I'd 'love, love, love to do a cookery show.'

Earlier this year, Nadine insisted: 'I am 100 per cent fit and healthy and I am the right weight for my type of body. I am totally happy with my weight. I’m just doing a lot of running with my trainer back home in LA.

'When I get back to Derry I always enjoy a good fry-up that my mum makes. That’s my big weakness. I also eat too much chocolate as well. If I’m honest I’m not a particularly healthy eater.'

Nadine, who recently released her debut solo single Insatiable, also spoke to Heat about Girls Aloud bandmates Cheryl Cole, Sarah Harding, Kimberley Walsh and Nicola Roberts, admitting she hasn't spoken to them for 13 months.

Nadine added that while she is finding it 'a lot calmer' being a solo artist, she thinks it is unfair that she has been blamed for the end of Girls Aloud.

She said: 'Nobody has spoken to me about a reunion. Cheryl is doing her music, so it would be near enough impossible for her to do a solo and a Girls Aloud one. But how it’s my fault is beyond me.'

The apparent feud between the girls started to get more serious when Sarah, Kimberley and Nicola all went to watch Cheryl perform her new single Promise This on The X Factor.

But Nadine admitted: 'I didn’t know it was happening. But it’s fine, it really is…'
